Childcare Designed Around Your Child
Every child develops differently. At Kaida, we believe young children need caring relationships, meaningful experiences, opportunities to explore and an environment that supports their individual development.
Our approach supports:
- Social-emotional development
- Language and communication
- Cognitive development
- Physical development
- Fine and gross motor skills
- Creativity
- Independence
- Early learning
- School readiness
Purposefully Limited Class Sizes
One of the advantages of Kaida is our intentionally limited classroom capacities.
Rather than simply maximizing the number of children in a classroom, we consider how the classroom environment can support meaningful teacher-child interactions.
Our classroom capacities are designed to allow a more favorable teacher-to-child environment than the minimum licensing standards require in key programs, particularly Infant Care and Pre-Kindergarten.
For parents, that means more opportunity for teachers to know each child, observe individual needs, provide guidance and engage children in meaningful interactions.
Our commitment is to maintain safe, attentive and developmentally appropriate care.
Our Programs
Infant Care
6 weeks to 12 months
Responsive care, sensory exploration, language-rich interactions, movement and age-appropriate developmental experiences.
Toddler Program
12 to 24 months
A safe and active environment where toddlers develop language, independence, motor skills and social-emotional skills.
Preschool
2 to 4 years
Play-based learning that supports communication, creativity, early literacy, early mathematics, social development and growing independence.
Pre-Kindergarten
4 to 5 years
Developmentally appropriate learning experiences that support early academic foundations, confidence, independence and kindergarten readiness.
Preschool to Pre-K: Readiness Matters
At Kaida, we believe children grow and develop at their own unique pace, so transitions between classrooms are guided by readiness rather than age alone.
Children remain in the Preschool program as they continue building essential independence skills, including toileting. When a child is developmentally ready for Pre-K, including being fully potty trained and demonstrating the social, emotional, communication, and classroom-readiness skills needed for the next environment, the transition is made in partnership with families.
This approach allows us to honor each child’s individual development and ensure they move forward when they are truly prepared, rather than simply because they reached a specific birthday.
