More Than a Place to Spend the Day
We believe early childhood is a time for exploration, relationships and discovery.
Children learn through:
- Play
- Conversations
- Books and stories
- Music and movement
- Art
- Sensory exploration
- Hands-on activities
- Outdoor experiences
- Social interaction
- Everyday routines
Our teachers use these experiences to support the whole child.
Individual Attention Starts With the Classroom Environment
Classroom size matters.
Kaida intentionally limits classroom capacity so that our teachers have the opportunity to provide meaningful interaction and individual attention rather than simply meeting the minimum staffing requirements.
This is especially important during the Infant and Pre-K years, when children benefit from responsive interaction, guidance and individualized support.
We focus on maintaining consistent, attentive staffing that supports each child’s daily needs and allows teachers to provide meaningful, responsive care throughout the day.
Programs for Every Stage
Infant Care
6 weeks to 12 months
A warm environment for babies to develop trust, communication, movement and sensory awareness.
Toddler Program
12 to 24 months
Opportunities to explore, communicate, move, develop independence and build early social skills.
Preschool
2 to 4 years
A play-based environment supporting language, early academic concepts, creativity, social-emotional development and independence.
Pre-Kindergarten
4 to 5 years
Learning experiences designed to build confidence, independence, early academic foundations and kindergarten readiness.
We Follow the Child's Development
Age is an important part of classroom placement, but it isn't the only consideration.
Children remain in Preschool while they continue developing the independence and readiness skills necessary for Pre-K.
Once a child is developmentally prepared, including being fully potty trained and ready socially, emotionally and behaviorally for the Pre-K environment, we can transition the child to Pre-K.
